Dundee and Aksarben porches: doorbells, leftover keypads, and the 68132 / 68106 quote
Dundee sits on 68132 with Happy Hollow and Fairacres nearby. Aksarben sits on 68106 with Elmwood Park and UNO at the edge. Both collect boxes on porches while owners are at UNMC, downtown, or on I-80. A doorbell camera is the usual add. Indoor door contacts plus 24/7 ADT is the product. Call (402) 600-0893. Home Security Systems Omaha is the line. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors.
Name Dundee or Aksarben. A brick house with a side door and a leftover keypad is a different occupancy card than a Midtown rental two ZIP digits over. Promotional offers are for homeowners. Dundee and Aksarben are the neighborhood pages. This page is the porch.
68132 is not 68106
Underwood Avenue empties Dundee toward shops and UNMC. Center Street and Aksarben Village empty Aksarben toward UNO class days and village hours. The stoop looks similar. The leftover keypad is similar. The ZIP is not. Say the neighborhood so we do not quote the wrong leftover-keypad story. Chapter 25 is $25 a year on both. False alarms: first $0, then $100 / $250. Mail PO Box 30205. ADT monitoring is separate.
Blackstone 68131, Midtown 68131, Happy Hollow 68132, and Elmwood Park 68106 sit next door and have their own community pages. Do not order a Dundee stoop package for a Blackstone condo board. Do not order an Aksarben porch doorbell for a Millard garage. Say the ZIP.
What the porch actually needs
People call about boxes. We still count the rear door and the alley door. A doorbell is optional. 24/7 on the door contact is the product. Photograph a leftover 68132 or 68106 keypad before a painter covers the hole. Reactivation is often faster than a rip-out on these resales. Builder leftovers are less common here than in Elkhorn. Still photograph.
A side door off the alley is the opening people forget. Dundee hides it. Aksarben hides a porch door. Count them on the 402 call. Packages start at $53.99/mo*. A doorbell moves you toward Complete+. Monitoring still works if you skip video.
UNMC and UNO clocks
UNMC and Nebraska Medicine shifts empty Dundee, Fairacres, and Midtown on a hospital clock, not a 9-to-5. UNO class days empty Aksarben and Elmwood Park. Those hours are why people want someone watching the door, not a camera they forget to check from a clinic hallway. Occupancy is the product. Citywide crime numbers do not arm the keypad.
Omaha police recorded 26 homicides in 2025. Overall crime fell about 10 percent. We do not publish a Dundee rate or an Aksarben rate. Chief Todd Schmaderer. Mayor John W. Ewing Jr. Order for the hours you are gone.
Boards, condos, and extra units
Stacked units near Aksarben Village need board rules. Indoor contacts the board will allow are still ADT 24/7. Hall cameras are often forbidden. An extra unit behind an Aksarben or Dundee lot is a second door list. Say who keeps a key. One watch can cover both if we count the openings.
Promotional offers are for homeowners. A rental near UNO with extra keys is a different card. Landlords who own the property can order. Tenants cannot use the homeowner promotion.
OPPD on these streets
These lots sit on OPPD. Ask about cellular backup so the panel still reaches ADT if the meter or Wi-Fi drops. A porch camera that needs Wi-Fi still goes dark. The panel does not have to. OPPD backup is the longer meter piece.
Call (402) 600-0893 with ZIP 68132 or 68106 and a leftover-keypad photo. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors 24/7. $99 install on many plans*.
