Omaha ADT FAQs
Cost, cameras, permits, OPPD backup, and how to order on the 402 line. No form.
How do I get ADT installed in Omaha?
Call (402) 600-0893. A specialist designs the system. SafeStreets installs. ADT monitors 24/7. This site is not ADT corporate.
How much does ADT cost in Omaha?
Plans start at $53.99/mo for ADT Secure+, then Smart+ $63.99, and Complete+ $74.99, with a $99 install on many plans. A new monitoring agreement is required. Early termination fees apply. Homeowners only.
Do I need an alarm permit in Omaha?
Inside the City of Omaha, Chapter 25 is $25 a year for a residential registration through CryWolf. False alarms in a 365-day period: first $0, second and third $100, fourth and later $250. Papillion is $15 a year. Bellevue, La Vista, and other desks confirm from the ZIP.
Does the system still work if OPPD is out?
Yes. Ask about cellular backup so the panel still reaches ADT if OPPD or the Wi-Fi is down. OPPD delivers in Omaha and most of Sarpy County. Council Bluffs lots are usually MidAmerican Energy. Confirm the meter on the quote.
Can I add cameras later?
Yes. A doorbell is the usual add on Dundee and Aksarben porches. Outdoor cameras if you want the driveway. Some boards limit what faces the street. Monitoring still works if you skip video.
Do you serve Bellevue, Papillion, and Council Bluffs?
Yes, when the ZIP is in coverage. One Omaha number for Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Elkhorn, Millard, Gretna, and Council Bluffs. Confirm the ZIP on the call. Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney, and Sioux City are not this line.
Is there a leftover keypad on my resale?
Photograph it before you pull it. Reactivation is often faster than a full replace after a Dundee, Millard, or Papillion closing. Builder leftover keypads in Elkhorn and Gretna plats are usually not ADT. Those get replaced.
